HANDS UP WELLINGTON is soon to present RED TO THE BLACK, a CHRISTCHURCH RETAIL EXPO on the weekend 2nd and 3rd July at TSB Bank Arena, Wellington.
We are thrilled that CHINA WHITE has been given a very exciting opportunity to be involved.
Wellington is most generously hosting an overwhelming number of Christchurch businesses during this time. We feel so incredibly lucky!!!

Welcome to my blog...I launched CHINA WHITE on Dragon’s Den New Zealand in 2006 to promote an awareness for white tea and its many health benefits. I believe CHINA WHITE is the first of its kind in New Zealand to produce super healthy bottled organic ice teas...

CHINA WHITE after 22 February quake
A few photos taken around home on the day of the destructive earthquake on 22 February 2011, in Christchurch.
What a challenging 8 months it has been for all in Christchurch and Canterbury, since the day the first quake struck on 4 September. For China White, fortunately our families, customers and suppliers are all safe and well. My heart goes out to those who have suffered the loss of loved ones. I feel deep sadness for my customers who have lost their businesses that include many cafes, retail outlets, also supermarkets.
With a very damaged house that is fortunately still liveable but may possibly need to be demolished, we cannot imagine how it would feel to be displaced at this time or have a home that is condemned. We feel so incredibly lucky to be safe and well. Our little Lily, now a wee toddler keeps us smiling and happy.
3 months on, things are beginning to progress and now looking forward to planning the next steps for China White. It helps greatly that some of my customers are planning to rebuild or reopen their businesses. They have a strong will to pursue their ambitions, goals and passions and succeed. This is what drives me.
Moving into winter, plans are in place to focus on my looseleaf tea range. How wonderful it is to have tremendous support from my customers outside the Christchurch area, showing they are very keen to help support small Christchurch businesses. I feel incredibly grateful for the unexpected opportunities that continue to present themselves following this strange turn of events. Watch this space!
